The Legacy of
Bill Reeves
William "Bill" Cephais Reeves was born on March 23, 1961, to Theofties and Laura Reeves, the third of five children. Throughout his life, Bill built a legacy of love, which lives on through his parents, siblings—one brother and three sisters—five nieces, seven nephews, and a host of grandnieces and grandnephews.
Bill’s academic journey led him to Rust College, where he earned a degree in Chemistry, graduating magna cum laude. As a leader among his peers, Bill pledged Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity in the fall of 1980 and served as the President of the Iota Gamma chapter during his senior year. His influence at Rust College extended beyond his fraternity as he also served as President of the Student Government Association and the Greek Council, Treasurer of the Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society, and a member of the Science and Math Club. He was also recognized as one of the Ten Most Influential Students.
